Trust the board certified, ACVS, veterinary surgeons at Blackford Veterinary Surgery Referral for your pets’ specialty needs. We perform advanced surgical procedures that are not performed at a primary care veterinary facility. We have wonderful relationships with hundreds of surrounding veterinary offices. These veterinarians refer their patients to us and trust their patients’ surgical needs to our talented veterinary surgeons. To be referred to our practice, please visit your primary care veterinary hospital first to be sure your pet needs our services. If they do, we are happy to call you once we receive your referral, and we’ll schedule you the next available appointment!

Our veterinary surgeons, Dr. Callie Blackford-Winders, Dr. Rebecca Hodshon, and Dr. LeeAnn Blackford specialize in orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. Examples of these surgeries include laparoscopic surgery, TPLO repairs, MPL repairs, hip dysplasia, fracture repairs, and a multitude of soft tissues procedures. Our surgeons combined, have completed over 5,000 TPLO repairs for ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), making the TPLO our most performed surgery.
